The heritage
A Sebring legend, reborn
In the early 1960s, Austin Healey Sprites took on the world at the 12 Hours of Sebring, driven by Stirling Moss, Steve McQueen and Bruce McLaren. The original Sebring cars are now vanishingly rare.
Every Mythron Cars Sebring Fastback starts with an original Austin Healey Mark 1 chassis, fully restored in our Surrey workshop, so your car keeps its heritage certification and its identity as a genuine classic, not a replica. Just 16 of each variation will be built, a number chosen in tribute to McQueen's Sebring race number.

The build process
How we build your perfect car
From your first design session to the moment you drive away, every Mythron Cars Sebring Fastback is built around you.

Design consultation
We believe your car should be as personal to you as possible. Meet our design team to choose your interior, gearbox, colour and packages, from half or full roll cages and carpets to roof linings, dial colours and layout.

Chassis preparation
Your original Austin Healey Mark 1 chassis is stripped back, inspected and fully restored, the foundation that keeps your car a genuine classic with its heritage certification.

Preparation and final paint
The Sebring Fastback body is prepared by hand and finished in the colour you have chosen, ready for the build.

The build
We fit the suspension, axles, steering and brakes, install your engine and gearbox, then complete the wiring, plumbing and trim. Photos and videos are uploaded to your private project build area as we go.

Rolling road and handover
Your car is tuned on a rolling road, with full diagnostics including BHP and performance curves. At your personal handover, our engineer tailors the suspension, brake bias and pedal positions to your driving style.

Everything you need to know
How long does it take to build the car
Our current build programme is 4 months from sourcing a suitable donor to delivery.
Is the car Tax and MOT exempt
All of our restorations will use the original chassis from a donor vehicle so will be MOT and Tax exempt.
Can you create a Mythron Healey Fastback from my car
Absolutely. We can use your car as the donor as long as it is Sprite or Midget with round wheel arches. If you don’t have a donor car we can source one for you or use one of our own stock cars.
Do you provide a warranty?
Yes, we provide a comprehensive 6 month warranty. Certain parts also carry their own manufacturers warranty which may be for a longer period.
Can you ship the car abroad
Yes. We can ship your car anywhere in the world subject to taxes and export and import duties.
Can you store my car when it is built
In most cases we can store your car for you in our adjoining car storage facility. Please feel free to email us with your requirements.
