is built

From your first design session to the day you drive away, every Mythron Cars Austin Healey Sebring Fastback is built by hand around you, in our Surrey workshop.

Timeline

Around four months, start to finish

Our current build programme takes around four months, from sourcing a suitable donor to delivery. Every build follows the same five stages.

01

Design consultation

We believe your car should be as personal to you as possible. You will sit down with our design team to choose your variation, interior, gearbox, colour and packages, from half or full roll cages to carpets, roof linings, dial colours and layout.

By the end, you will have a specification that is entirely yours, and your build slot will be reserved.

02

Chassis preparation

Every car starts with an original Austin Healey Mark 1 chassis. It is stripped back, inspected and fully restored in our Surrey workshop.

This is what keeps your car a genuine classic, retaining its heritage certification rather than becoming a replica.

03

Preparation and final paint

The Sebring Fastback body is prepared by hand, then finished in the colour you chose during your consultation.

Every panel is checked before the car moves on to the build.

04

The build

We fit the suspension, axles, steering and brakes, install your engine and gearbox, then complete the wiring, plumbing and trim to your specification.

Throughout, photos and videos of your car are uploaded to your private project build area, so you can follow every stage.

05

Rolling road and handover

Once the build is complete, your car is timed and tuned on a rolling road, with full diagnostics including BHP and performance curves provided as part of your handover.

At your personal handover and tuning session, our engineer tailors the suspension, brake bias and clutch and brake pedal positions to your driving style.

You are part of it, every step of the way

Weekly updates

Every week, photos and videos of your car are uploaded to your private project build area, so you can follow its progress wherever you are.

Visit whenever you like

You are welcome to visit the workshop at any time to see your car taking shape. Can’t make it? We will send you video updates instead.

A personal handover

Rolling road diagnostics, including BHP and performance curves, and a tuning session that sets the car up for the way you drive.

Full 6-month warranty

Every Mythron Cars Sebring Fastback comes with a full 6-month warranty, for complete peace of mind as you get to know your car.
